Biomethane plant

Well, well ...

SFP Group BV and SWEN Capital Partners, through its impact fund dedicated to renewable gas, announce a joint acquisition of the biomethane plant in Westdorpe in the Netherlands and the establishment of a long-term partnership to jointly pursue investments in large scale biomethane projects across the Netherlands.

Oh, okay. / It's a PR email, obviously.

Are they happy though? 'Who, boss?' The people involved in this deal. Are they really happy?

"We are very happy that we have found a partner like SWEN CP, who shares our vision. We believe that together we can really make a difference, and this first transaction that we have made together is a big step towards our common goal, fuelling the future!" says Niels Peters, managing director of SFP Group BV. "SWIFT is the right partner for us to expand our business," adds Erik Brouwer, also managing director of SFP Group BV.

Oh. 'Ha! That told you!' Shut up, idiot.

A lot of people say they're happy because they don't want people thinking badly of them. Especially in a work environment where you might not be allowed to show any dissatisfaction with anything at all. We live in a phoney world.

Anyway ...

Olivier Aubert, SWEN's fund manager, continues: "We are proud about our partnership with Niels and Erik and excited to have this biogas plant for our first transaction in the Netherlands. The plant was commissioned 2 years ago and since then it shows excellent production results. The plant in Westdorpe produces 2,200 nm3/h of biogas and recycles more than 150,000 tonnes of waste. Our common ambition is to double its production capacity and address growing BioLNG needs of the European market. We look forward to further expanding our partnership with SFP Group."

Yeah, yeah.

Er ...

Good luck with it.

Anything else? Fresh starts?

I'll tell you, kook(s): it's too difficult for me to keep fresh starts going with my chaotic lifestyle. The best thing is to stick to some simple rules - as I mentioned in yesterday's conceptual.

For the last two months, I've only been playing my guitar five or six hours a week, and neglecting the vocal go go go exercise, too. [The Thing blues, I suppose. I don't know.] However, I played for two hours yesterday, and did three times five minutes of go go go, you dig?

So ...

So, anything more ... else? Well, I've bought Waterloo for my phone. Only £3.99. Rod Steiger plays Napoleon. It's a bit dated, but the battle scenes are amazing. A cast of tens of thousands!* It doesn't look like a movie. It looks like there was a film crew at the actual battle, covering it for a news report or something. Ha!

Laters.

*17,000 soldiers from the Russian army, actually.
