Real time

Yeah, yeah. Better than fake time anytime, this time or that time. I don't know. What time?! 'What?!' Exactly, Voice! That's what I said.

Oh, PR email. Lovely!

RESTON, Va. April 15, 2020 - Transaction Network Services (TNS) can now provide real time market data from the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX). This move allows TNS customers to access the market data systems of the ninth largest stock exchange, and the 14th largest derivatives exchange, in the world.

Okay, okay. I suppose it sounds all right. But what do I know? 'You know nothing, boss.' Yes, that's right. Some things never change. 'Don't go changing, son.' Oh, I won't.

Providing HKEX data means that TNSXpress market data now covers the majority of the world's most important markets and exchanges.

Fine. But what does Jeff say? 'I doubt he's happy.' Why? 'He's always miserable.' Ha! You don't even know him, you little idiot!

Come on, Jeff!

"Hong Kong is one of the world's foremost financial centers, and HKEX is a major global gateway to trading and market data in Asia," says Jeff Mezger, Director of Product Management for TNS' Financial Services business. "HKEX is the listing exchange for some of the world's largest companies, offers deeply liquid derivatives markets, and is a throughway to the mainland Chinese exchanges. With HKEX now in the TNS network, customers from all over the world can collocate their trading infrastructure with the exchange, leverage richer, real-time market data, and access an important financial market using a single, secure vendor with local onsite support."

You see? Jeff is excited about this real time stuff. 'He didn't say he was excited.' So? 'Well, they normally say, don't they?' Uh. Maybe he will say. Let's hear the rest of what he's got to tell us.

Come on, Jeff! Make it good.

"TNS' expansion into Hong Kong represents another proof point in how customers can access the major world financial centers and exchanges simply, quickly and with a lower total cost of ownership," says Mezger. "For firms that need access to Hong Kong and mainland China, TNS provides a comprehensive managed hosting solution and while this is our first outpost in Asia, we're anticipating future expansions into other Asian markets."

Okay, okay. 'Ha!' Listen! Maybe Jeff has got his mind on other things, you dig? I mean, the whole world is falling apart, man. 'I suppose.' No suppose about it. I'm just glad that he had the enthusiasm to at least say something to us in this email. A lot of people are withdrawing into themselves, you know. They don't want to say nothing to nobody.

...

Anything else? Yes. I bought that "10" film for my phone. Oh, not because I want to ogle Bo Derek. No! Because of Dudley Moore. 'You fancy him?! Are you gay, boss?' Don't be ridiculous, Voice. Dudley plays a songwriter in the film, living in Beverly Hills. 'Yeah, but you want to live in Malibu.' Ha! Well, his songwriting partner - played by Robert Webber - lives in Malibu. And he is gay, by the way. 'Oh.' Maybe I should stick to Bo Derek.

Listen! I've decided I need more songs like And Rain Came Down. It's not a world-beater, but it is my most commercial song. I need songs that sound like massive hits, or potential massive hits, or whatever. World-beaters aren't always commercial. Think of songs like Imagine and One. Compare them to, uh ... Baby Jane by Rod Stewart, or Islands In The Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. 'How would you classify those last two songs, boss?' Bread-and-butter classics, first class. Just like And Rain Came Down. You dig? ...

I hope so, man.
