Three new partners at Silverfleet capital ...

Well, well ... / Yes. Mark Piasecki, Klaus Maurer, and Jean Chatillon. That's them, the new partners. All promoted. Not bad, eh? I like to see people doing well in life.

It's a PR email, all right? And pictures are available, but I don't want pictures to be honest with you, dear reader(s). 'Ha! It's bad enough having to write about them, boss, without having to look at their ugly mugs as well.' I didn't mean that, you little idiot! I don't put pictures on this blog, do I? 'Oh.' Because it's a literary masterpiece, not a fucking Instagram account or whatever! 'All right, calm down, son.' Shut up, Voice! / Christ! It's Friday. A grey, rainy Friday. I shouldn't even be doing this today. I just want to get it done, man, and then enjoy my weekend, what's left of it. / Okay ...

Silverfleet Capital ("Silverfleet"), the European private equity firm, has today ("Wednesday") announced that Mark Piasecki, Klaus Maurer and Jean ("Genie") Chatillon have become partners in the firm. These promotions demonstrate Silverfleet's continued commitment to developing strong investment teams across its European office network.

Nice. / Now, about the guys ...

Mark Piasecki is based in London and joined Silverfleet more than ten years ago. During this time, Mark has been responsible for making investments across most of Silverfleet's target sectors including Business & Financial Services and Retail, Leisure & Consumer Products. Mark will continue his role as Head of the Financial Services sector and will maintain his focus on investment activities across the UK & Ireland.

Klaus Maurer has been with Silverfleet for eight years and is based in the Firm's Munich office. Klaus has been involved in a number of Silverfleet's successful DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) transactions including the recent sale of Fund I portfolio company Kalle for 3.5x cost. As a partner in Silverfleet's Munich office, Klaus will continue to focus on investment activities across the DACH region.

Jean Chatillon has worked in the private equity industry for eleven years, joining Silverfleet's Paris office in 2014. Most recently, Jean was involved in Silverfleet Fund II's investment in Coventya, the international speciality chemical business. Jean will become the second partner in the Firm's Paris office and will continue to focus on investment activities across France & Benelux.

Okay, okay. So far so good. But, uh ... will our Neil spoil everything with some negative comment?

Neil MacDougall, Managing Partner of Silverfleet Capital commented: "I would like to welcome Jean, Klaus and Mark into the partnership at Silverfleet Capital. They have made significant contributions developing our firm in their respective regions and we wish them every success in their new roles. These promotions continue our tradition of promoting from within."

No. He seems quite happy. That's all right then.

- Ends -

Ha! As they say in the business. And it really is the ends for this week, dear reader(s), because I'm knackered. See you next week. 'Laters!' Yeah.
