Fresh start today!

'Oh, you're crazy, boss!'

I'm serious, Voice. So shut up.

Idiot!

Listen, kooks. The cosmos has given me a final warning. I've got no choice.

Anyway ... I'm going with the seven days a week option - with rest time from eight in the evenings.

End of summer.

No conceptual today. I'm having another go at Life and Death after lunch.

I watched a video on YouTube last night. Some guy asking if it's possible that an act like The Beatles will come along again. He said it will be difficult because everyone is into different stuff these days. Too much entertainment! Too many channels! Etc, etc.

What he didn't consider is the Yesterday solution. You know, the film? That film isn't a fantasy. It's a blueprint. If artist(s) come along with the greatest ever songs and a lot of them ... it will have an impact.

My BIG TEN of songs will get me through the first two albums. I'll need a BIG TWENTY eventually. I'll be able to get that by the end of the decade, and then maybe I'll have, uh ... four classic albums??? And with "supporting" songs, too. That will be enough.

And I've got no choice. The cosmos has given me a final warning.

I ain't gonna survive no cost of living crisis, man. Are you fucking crazy?! I need to get my demo online before the end of October.

I need the BIG TEN finished.

I need the seven supporting songs finished.

I just need two lyrics, kooks!

I'm not looking forward to writing the Life and Death lyric. I changed one word in And Rain Came Down at the weekend. It improved the song, but that sort of attention to detail with Life and Death will be exhausting.

Never mind.

I really need to write lyrics the way I write conceptuals. 'You keep saying that.' Yeah, yeah.

It's the only thing holding me back.

Of course ... I might be better off as a songwriter for others. I could go to Cornwall then, and stay there.

I could stare at the sea all day. Who would stop me?

I could eat pasties. I could drink lager.

'I could eat Jammie Dodgers!!!'

Oh, I don't know.

Bye.

NO - !!!

'Are you still here?'

I'm still here.

Listen! The Beatles don't have a BIG TWENTY. No artist has got one! It's too difficult. That's why I must do it.

And with thirty or forty supporting songs???

Perfect!

Bye.

'Are you gone?'

'Boss?'

'Has he gone, kooks?'

'What a crazy guy!'

'It's my job to keep an eye on him though. You know how it is.'

'Well ... laters!'
