BestX launches ...

What does it launch? 'Tell us, boss! Please!' Ha! Okay, Voice. Let's find out what BestX launches ...

BOSTON and LONDON, July 27, 2020 - BestX, State Street's foreign exchange and fixed income best execution analytics platform, announced today that it has expanded its award-winning execution analytics software and launched a post-trade transaction cost analysis ("TCA") module for equity markets. Covering global stock markets, the new functionality provides clients with benefits of the unique BestX web interface alongside flexible data analysis, report configuration and generation.

Oh, okay. No endorsement, obviously, ("NEO"), dear reader(s), because I don't know anything about this stuff. 'What do you know about?' Chakras. Auras. 'Yeah, of course.' Yes.

Oh, it's from last week, this email. It's the only decent PR email I've got at the moment. I think everyone is on holiday. 'You're not on holiday.' Ha! Well, that's another story, man. Accommodation prices in Cornwall seem to have gone up by at least 50 percent. 'That's profiteering, boss.' Listen! I'm not paying crazy prices, man. I mean, I'll get down there, and then ... I'll be sitting in the pub, wearing a gas mask, and drinking my pint through a straw? Yeah, it sounds great.

Anyway, let's hear what Pete has got to say ...

"We responded to our clients' needs by expanding BestX to provide a full multi-asset class offering," says Pete Eggleston, BestX Co-Founder. "Whilst launching fixed income at the end of 2018, it quickly became clear that clients wanted one application to analyse all of their trading. The desire to consolidate data and vendors is a trend that we anticipate will accelerate over the next few years and we needed to ensure we were positioned appropriately for this."

The desire to consolidate data and vendors?! Christ! The things some people desire. 'They're sick, boss.' Oh, I'll never understand.

Me though, I'm all  right. I only desire a chorus at the moment. 'A chorus?' Yeah. I've a got a new piece of music for a song verse. Now I need an exciting chorus to go with it. 'Something like Come On Eileen or Modern Love ... ?' Maybe, Voice. Maybe. But ... And Rain Came Down has the best chorus EVER - !!! So, I want something like that again, really.

Okay, okay. Let's finish with a word or two from Martine ...

"BestX's expansion into fixed income and equities is a testament to the team that in less than five years since inception, BestX now offers a full multi-asset class offering," says Martine Bond, head of GlobalLink, State Street's suite of e-trading platforms, technology, data and workflow solutions. "Through our partnership with BestX, following State Street's acquisition in 2018, we're delighted to provide the resources and support to access the enormous volume of market data required to support such a complete product offering."

They're delighted. That's all I needed to hear.

ENDS

...

Anything else? Er ... I can't think of much else, to be honest with you, kook(s). I've mentioned my music, and Cornwall.

I'll be doing another conceptual later. What number am I up to now? 'No. 824 will be the next one, boss.' Yeah. No. 824.

I'm wondering if I should walk to Richmond again this week. It's knackering, especially in this heat, but ... it must be good for me, surely?

Okay, laters.
