360 Capital announces something

Well, that's all right, ain't it? 'What's this, boss?' Er ... 360 Capital is announcing something. 'What, on your blog?!' Yeah. 'At the height of summer?!' Some people are crazy, Voice. What can I say?

PRESS RELEASE

360 Capital is pleased to announce the launch of its 360 Square II early-stage fund with a closing of €45M.

Paris, June 13, 2022 - This comes on the back of the highly successful 360 Square I which among its 24 investments winners such as Exotec (France's 25th unicorn), Preligens, Casavo, Alsid (sold to Tenable), Bergamotte (sold to Bloom&Wild), Tediber (sold through a management buyout), Tiller Systems (sold to SumUp) and, and Neutrino (sold to Coinbase).

Leveraging its predecessor's strategy, 360 Square II will continue targeting early-stage tech companies (pre-seed and seed) with a balanced focus on Deeptech, B2B software and consumer tech. As bold trend seekers, 360 Capital seeks talented founders across Western Europe (France, Italy, Spain in particular) to support their ambitious projects with tickets from €200K to €2M. Two investments have already been committed and will be announced shortly.

No endorsement, obviously, kooks. I only endorse my music - as you know. And more of that in a little while. 360 Capital is - 'When did you receive this email, boss?' Last Monday. 'Oh, okay.' Shut up!

Idiot!

Anyway ...

This new fund has attracted strong support from reputable investors amongst which the "Fonds National d'Amorçage 2" (French Tech Seed 2), managed on behalf of the French State by Bpifrance, MAIF Avenir, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, Groupe Rocher, and several European Business Angels.

Angels?

For over two decades 360 Capital has proven its ability to anticipate technological trends and to identify high-potential entrepreneurs capable of turning such trends into powerful and disruptive realities. The firm has a long established reputation in early stage investment within the European tech ecosystem.

Powerful and disruptive realities?! Ha, ha, ha! Well, well ... that's something I can endorse! 'Just like your conceptual literature, boss!' Exactly! 'Will you be writing one later?' Of course I will! You know how much I love the dizzy life.

Anyway, we have quotes from "entrepreneurs" now - if you can believe that.

Quotes from entrepreneurs to attest to it:

Josef Bovet - "360 capital support was very strong towards the whole Tiller journey, from assisting on hypergrowth challenges to identifying the right partners for dilutive and non-dilutive financial resources. They were next to the founders constantly in our bumpy ride!"

Emmanuel Gras - Alsid - "360 Capital has been on our side throughout our whole journey, helping us on several fronts: fundraising, commercial expansion, recruiting… and exiting the company in good conditions! Their commitment and availability have been precious."

Okay.

Uh.

We also have quotes from ... [drum roll] ... 360 Capital. 'Yippee!' Calm down.

Quotes from 360 Capital:

Emanuele Levi, Partner: "Lately we've seen a clear shift in the VC ecosystem giving us even a stronger conviction to focus on seed stage. We believe it's the most attractive place for delivering interesting risk-adjusted returns given the intensification of competition in later stage rounds (series B and beyond) as well as the increased presence of US/UK/Asian investors. At 360 Capital, we have consistently shown our ability to understand and to partner early-on with successful entrepreneurs. 360 Square II is simply the logical continuation of our longstanding legacy and capabilities."

Alexandre Mordacq, Partner: "Seed investment always held a special place in our heart: being the catalyst of world-changing projects certainly is a privilege that we measure everyday, and that's why we're so excited to be able with 360 Square II to soon back the leaders of tomorrow."

Uh.

Fine!

So ...

Invest in conceptual literature, my friends! Get dizzy as fuck!

ENDS

...

Anything else?

Music? Those lyrics? Well ... I wrote one of them. 'Which one?' Life and Death. 'Yippee!'

Don't get carried away, Voice. I've decided to scrap the song. 'What?! Why?!' Because it's just as boring as most of Dylan's long poetic songs - and I'm not into that stuff any more. My taste has changed. I can't see the point of songs like Desolation Row. I'd rather listen to I Want To Hold Your Hand or Rio or Smells Like Teen Spirit any day.

'Er ... what about Nothing ... ???' Nothing is musically upbeat, and the third verse is better than anyone else's verse in any song. However, I won't be writing any more songs like that either.

It's just pop and rock from now on!

It's just ... FUN - !!!

You dig?

So, here's my, uh ... BIG NINE of songs -

Mighty Soul
Shady, Dodgy, Shifty
Nothing
This World Don't Mean a Thing
The Future
And Rain Came Down
Malibu
Stella
What's This Life We Live?

I need one more, of course.

Actually, I'm going to add Good Times to the list. It's simple, but it's a big song.

So ...

Mighty Soul
Shady, Dodgy, Shifty
Nothing
This World Don't Mean a Thing
The Future
And Rain Came Down
Malibu
Stella
What's This Life We Live?
Good Times

That will do - for now.

And I'm going to finish the lyrics for And Rain Came Down and The Future this week. I need this BIG TEN to stay sane, man. 'Yeah.' Ha!

Anyway, here's the "album" -

This World Don't Mean a Thing
Lucky You
Mighty Soul
Shady, Dodgy, Shifty
Round The Bend
What's This Life We Live?
Stella
Malibu
I'm Right Inside
Nothing
Good Times

A far more lively ending!

'Lively up yourself, Mikey!'

Exactly, Voice! Bob Marley would be so proud of me.

All right, kooks?

Oh, one more thing ... And Rain Came Down is a commercial rock ballad just as good as All The Young Dudes, and remember - that's where I started Bowie's BIG TEN. So ... I'm not too upset about losing Life and Death, which was supposed to be some amazing masterpiece. My BIG TEN is still up there with The Beatles. / Have you ever listened to Take This Waltz by Leonard Cohen??? I used to love the song, but now it bores me to tears. That's the sort of thing I'm talking about. Just like Desolation Row, it's a long list of poetic bullshit, and Life and Death is the same.

I still love Famous Blue Raincoat though!!!

Laters.
